What exactly is UuLApp?
UuLApp is a protocol/process, not a social network, game store or e-learning platform. Its core job is to let a school certify that a user is genuinely a minor and to let participating digital services use that verified status to enforce child-only and age-group interaction rules.
What problem does it solve?
It removes self-declared age as the only trust mechanism. An adult cannot obtain UuLApp minor status simply by typing a child’s birthday, and a child cannot turn themselves into a verified adult through the UuLApp process.
Who can certify a child?
Only an authorised participating school can certify a UuLApp child credential. A child, parent, game, social network or ordinary website cannot self-issue verified minor status.
Why is the school involved?
Because the school already knows whether the person is an enrolled student and normally holds the information needed to determine the relevant age or education band. UuLApp uses that existing institutional relationship as the trust anchor.
Does the parent verify the age?
No. The parent or holder of parental responsibility can provide consent or manage permissions where required, but the school remains the source of the child verification.
Is UuLApp a platform that children use instead of other apps?
The core UuLApp is a verification protocol, so children can continue using participating games, social networks, learning services and websites. The wider UuLApp roadmap can also add its own education, alert and support services on top of the protocol, but those are separate layers rather than a requirement to abandon existing services.
What must a participating social network or game do?
It must do more than read the ID. It should use the verified child status to keep adult accounts out of child-only social/gaming pools and apply the permitted age-group rules to discovery, matchmaking, friend requests, chat, voice/video and similar interaction features.
Can adults communicate with children at all?
Ordinary adult users should not enter child-only social or gaming interaction. Legitimate teachers, counsellors or other professionals may need designated contact, but they should use separately verified, clearly labelled professional roles and purpose-limited channels — never a child identity.
What does “100% Safe Internet” mean?
It describes the protocol’s core identity rule: 100% of UuLApp minor credentials must be school-certified, and participating child-only interaction is designed around that verified status. It is not a claim that hacking, bullying, harmful content, stolen devices or every other online risk disappears.
Could an adult create a fake child account?
Not through normal UuLApp public signup, because there is no self-certification route to a valid minor credential. A deliberate false issuance would require abuse of an authorised school process and should therefore be auditable, reconcilable with enrolment and revocable.
What if someone steals a real child’s ID?
The protocol requires strong authentication, credential/session protection, revocation and recovery. Verification at issuance is necessary but not sufficient if a credential can simply be stolen and reused.
What information does a game or website need to receive?
Ideally only what is necessary for the child-safety decision — for example, valid verified minor status and an age/education band. The protocol should avoid exposing the child’s home address, phone number, full school record or other unnecessary personal data.
Can parents choose stricter rules?
The protocol can support service or family policies such as classmates only, same school, defined age bands or wider verified minor groups. The exact controls depend on the participating service and applicable law.
What happens when a child changes school or grows older?
Credentials should have a lifecycle: school-year update, expiry/revalidation, transfer handling and revocation. A permanent unchanging child credential would create unnecessary safety and accuracy risks.
Can UuLApp be used for games?
Yes. A game can use the verified age band for matchmaking and communication so a minor is not automatically placed in the same social/voice-chat pool as unknown adult users.
Can it be used by existing social networks?
Yes, if the service chooses to integrate the protocol and implement the required interaction controls. UuLApp does not require users to abandon existing services.
What about learning, libraries, peer help and support services from the original concept?
They remain possible applications of the verified student layer. The new site separates them from the protocol itself so visitors can understand the core safety mechanism first.
Is UuLApp free?
The protocol is intended to be free to use. The UuLApp concept and intellectual-property rights remain with LP Development, which has developed the project since 2009. Production adoption would require clear implementation and licensing terms defining permitted use.
What can UuLApp grow into beyond the protocol?
Once a trusted network of school-verified children, linked parents and participating schools exists, UuLApp can gradually add digital-safety education, school e-learning, libraries, peer learning, verified educational providers, missing-child alerts, civil-protection information and dedicated professional support channels through partnerships.
Are e-learning tools intended to be free for schools and non-profit organisations?
Yes. The UuLApp vision is to make the core protocol and core online-learning tools available to participating schools and non-profit organisations without a participation fee. Optional third-party educational services may have their own transparent prices, but they are separate from the free safety credential.
Can private teachers or educational organisations participate?
A future professional learning layer can admit separately verified teachers, tutoring organisations, universities and other educational providers. Where professional licences or authorisations exist, those credentials can form part of the verification process. Adult educators remain clearly identified adults and never enter child-only social spaces as minors.
How does UuLApp teach children to use the internet safely?
The Digital Safety Path is designed to grow with the child. Short lessons, prompts and quizzes can cover personal data, photos, passwords, unknown contacts, grooming warning signs, bullying, scams, location sharing, AI/deepfakes and other risks. Guidance can appear before wider interaction rights are granted or immediately before a risky action such as sharing a photo or location.
How would a missing-child alert work?
UuLApp Alert is designed as an additional verified distribution route. A report should be validated by the competent authority or authorised child-protection partner before broad distribution. Relevant verified parents, schools and users can then receive the approved information and official instructions, followed by updates when the case changes or closes.
What is UuLApp Informe?
UuLApp Informe is the proposed civil-protection and emergency-information layer. With formal public-authority integration, it can relay official information about fires, floods, earthquakes, severe weather or other emergencies to relevant verified families and schools.
Could UuLApp provide 24/7 psychological or child support?
That is part of the longer-term partnership vision, not a claim that such a service is already operating. By connecting verified NGOs, universities, helplines and qualified professionals across countries and time zones, UuLApp can work toward always-available support channels. Professional adults remain clearly identified and use dedicated support spaces.
Why does adoption by companies and institutions matter?
Because the protocol only changes children’s online experience when services act on the verified child status. UuLApp therefore invites games, social networks, digital platforms, schools, education authorities, NGOs, child-safety bodies and governments to adopt or support a common school-verified child-interaction standard.
Does using UuLApp automatically make a company GDPR, DSA or COPPA compliant?
No. UuLApp can support child-safety and age-assurance goals, but each organisation remains responsible for its own legal obligations, data processing, security, transparency and service design.
